Cast off those mid winter blues and come and join us at the Royal Hotel in Leichhardt for our annual Social function. We will gather on Thursday 28 July at 6:30 PM in the Wheel and Barrow rooms of the Royal Hotel  for stories, pictures and tales from the previous year, and plans for the upcoming year. Winter is Over,Spring is Here- Dinner Get Together at Hotel Royal Leichhardt

We intended to have a Mid Winter Dinner but everyone was away in warmer parts. Now we are back we are inviting everyone to the Royal Leichhardt in Norton St for some good food and chat.Finger food provided and (some) drinks in one of the function rooms upstairs. GOLDFIELDS TRACK & OKEEFE RAIL TRAIL

Wonder would there be any interest in doing the Goldfield track (website has this name ).

It basically runs from Bendigo to Ballarat following mostly the old walking track and for most part requires a mountain bike or perhaps a tough tourer.

There is also the Okeefe rail trail  presently running  east of Bendigo for 27km,(will be extended in 2015)

The current issue of RIDEON has an article.
