• Ken Welsh is back in his old job as Transport Planner. Council still deciding on who will be coordinating the Bike Plan (Bike Strategy as they call it) as one of their responsibilities.
• The Leichhardt Community Plan is being updated for next five years. Have your say by doing a survey online or attending workshops and info days. http://www.leichhardt.nsw.gov.au/About-Council/Plans-Policies-Pubs/Strategic-Plans/2025. Don't forget to mention bicycles often, and benefits of Active Transport.
• Cr Kogoy proposed a Ciclovia for Sydney, a car free network of roads open to walkers, cyclists, exercisers, all sorts of activities, on Sundays.
